NHAU

Circular Pathway, NOHO, Hong Kong

Casual Dining Restaurant; Design

Nhau means "together" in Vietnamese.

This tucked-away restaurant is located on an undiscovered corner in Hong Kong's famous NOHO district. Facing a pedestrian street, Nhau was designed to maximise its engagement with the street, providing seating nooks and opportunities for customers to comfortably "hang out" and forget the hustle and bustle of the city.

The design features colours and decor inspired by Vietnamese urban-scape. The building materials include tiles and furniture sourced from Vietnam, and a flexible facade system that allows the restaurant to take on an alfresco dining feel on lovely days.
